About project

BECOMING is an EU-funded Erasmus+ project. Its primary goal is to bring innovative solutions to reduce the risk of leaving the labour market for workers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) employed at lower levels, particularly by developing a positive approach to lifelong learning.
The project preliminarily increases workers’ awareness about the need for guidance and lifelong learning by developing animated videos stimulating “awakening confused consciences”. After that, the project focuses on making career guidance services available to workers for reflection and evaluation and making self-assessment and planning-career tools available to workers. They will be both online and face-to-face, user-friendly, and of high value.

Target groups of a project are:

Career guidance development (CGD) operators and VET trainers;

Workers in SMEs at lower-skilled levels;

Managers in SMEs, who need to understand how to enable skills and job profiles of their employees.

The project pursues these specific objectives:

VET trainers and CGD operators are trained on ad-hoc processes and tools to support SMEs workers’ professional guidance;

SMEs workers become aware of the exit-risk from the labor market; they are determined to develop C-VET paths consistent with skills needs;

SMEs workers are provided with a clear direction of personal development, who implement a “personal career development plan”;

SMEs managers become aware of the need for competences related to transformations;
